Coover in 1942.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>What is its Chemical Content?<\/h2>\n<p>In the structure of cyanoacrylate adhesives, there are cyano group (-CN) and ester group (COOR) attached to the same carbon atom, which have the ability to withdraw electrons. Thanks to these properties, the monomers reacting with electron-rich substances polymerize in a very short time with the humidity in the environment and a hard polymeric layer is formed between the two surfaces. This layer ensures that the parts are firmly attached to each other.
