The automotive and transportation sector, due to constantly evolving technologies and high-performance requirements, has an open structure for innovation. In this sector, adhesives hold great significance for various applications such as joining parts, surface coatings, and ensuring leak-proof sealing. Adhesives offer results that are lighter, more durable, and more aesthetically pleasing compared to traditional welding methods, making them indispensable for automotive manufacturers.

Adhesives used in the automotive and transportation sector find application in the production of high-performance vehicles and vehicles that need to withstand vibrations and shocks. These adhesives excel in their ability to bond different surfaces such as metal, composite materials, glass, and plastic, offering resilience against challenging conditions. As a result, even vehicles operating under demanding circumstances benefit from enhanced durability and reliability.

Adhesives, an integral part of the automotive and transportation sector, also hold significance from an aesthetic perspective. Often, adhesives are preferred to achieve visually pleasing results and maintain smooth surface appearances. Adhesives used in particular for the assembly of glass, headlight lenses, and interior trims not only to provide sealing but also contribute to an aesthetic appeal, ensuring a seamless and attractive look.

With the advancement of technologies, the rise of electric vehicles continues to reshape the automotive and transportation sector. Batteries, which are among the most critical components of electric vehicles, typically arrive in the form of large modules. The assembly and installation of these modules are carried out using robust and durable adhesives.

As Pulsar Kimya, we are aware of the needs in the automotive and transport sector. We serve the manufacturers in this sector with our latest technology products. Here are some;

Acry’Tron 1E1: High performance, acrylic based, structural adhesive. MMA free. It has high thermal strength and impact resistance. Formulated to tolerate different thermal expansion coefficients of different materials. It has excellent flexibility. It can bond many materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, composite, hard PVC, polyester with each other and / or among themselves.

Acry’Tron 007: High performance, acrylic based, structural adhesive. It has excellent flexibility to tolerate different thermal expansion coefficients of different materials. It can bond many materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, composite, rigid PVC, polyester with each other and / or between themselves.

ADDY-SIL 562: It is a two-component, silicone-based, filling and coating material. It has high thermal conductivity and is suitable for re-work. Suitable for manual dismantling. It can be cured at room temperature. Suitable for use in automotive, transformers, cable end sleeves, capacitors, etc.

ADDY-SIL 654: ADDY-SIL 654 series are two-component, thermally conductive, silicone-based, gap fillers with thermal conductivity between 2.5 and 7 W/m.K. It can be cured at room temperature or with heat. It has excellent temperature resistance and is resistant to thermal cycling. Suitable for use in battery packs, electric vehicles, power electronics, etc.

EP 5087: Two component, fast curing, thermally conductive adhesive and sealant. With a thermal conductivity of 1.5 W/m.K, it is designed to dissipate heat in electronic applications. Suitable for use in metal, plastic, ceramic and ferrite bonding applications.

EP 2669: A thermally conductive, epoxy-based, two-component adhesive that fills air gaps and increases cooling efficiency by applying to the surfaces of circuit elements and cooling elements that cannot be screwed.

UV 9172: It is a high viscosity, solvent-free, acrylic-based adhesive used in processes such as glob-top, active alignment, lens and component fixing. It can be cured with UV or visible light. It is resistant to moisture, hot water, automotive fluids, gasoline and many aggressive chemicals such as cleaning materials.

UV 8106OP: It is a low viscosity, transparent, urethane acrylate-based adhesive for bonding optical elements, lenses and lens housings. It can be cured with an activator and/or heat. After curing, it takes a color close to the refractive index of glass. In addition to being resistant to extremely humid environments, it also contains additives for metal bonding.

Ca’Tron Series: Ca’Tron Series, are a series of cyanoacrylate-based adhesives with different viscosities that can also be used in gasketing processes. They are transparent and fast curing adhesives. Unlike other conventional adhesives, they do not require catalyst or heat-curing.
