Acry’tron 007 is an acrylic-based structural adhesive, making a name for itself with its strong adhesion and wide usage of network.
It has the property of bonding plenty of materials like steel, stainless-teel, copper, aluminium, composite aluminium, brass, nickel, chromium, zinc, wood, glass, concrete, hard PVC, epoxy FRP, phenolic FRP, stone, coated metal, furnace painted & dust painted with themselves and/or with other materials.
Acry’tron 007, which is used with its specially produced gun and is resistant to high temperatures, is a structural adhesive that does not require pre-mixing and can make every kind of mixture with its mixer tips.
Acry’tron 007, has an initial curing time at 4-5 minutes, its functional curing time is at 45-60 minutes and its final curing time is at 24 hours, Acrytron 007 is 100% acrylic-based and have a viscosity between 2000-4000 cps.
Acry’tron 007, which takes place in the most preferred metal bonding adhesives, has high heat resistance and impact resistance.
The usage of Acrytron 007, is quite simplistic. First, the product is kept in a vertical position on a flat surface, provided that the pushing pistons are at the bottom. The process continues until the pink / green coloured materials flow from both ends. When flowing is achieved the product is ready to use.
The recommended method for the application of the adhesive is as follows; the surface to be applied must be cleaned with a volatile alcohol, the product must be dispensed to the surface with a 30–45-degree angle and in a way where two products will be on top of each other, (pink part on top of green part or vice versa). If the coloured ingredients are applied to the left and right, the colours must be mixed with each other. Later, the pieces to be adhered must be placed to the surface with the adhesive and after performing the necessary calibrations it must be pressed with clamp if necessary.
The product must be left to dry off after this process takes 5- 10 minutes. If another process will be applied on the product, you can continue your process by separating it from the clamp. The adhesive reaches its test values after 24 hours.
After completing the process, the product must be conserved by putting the tip back on. Since there will not be curing when the ingredients are not mixed, the product can wait as ready to use. You can conserve it under room temperature.
