What is Cyanoacrylate? This chemical, which many non-commercial users of us have not heard of before, is commonly called instant adhesive. The name came from instantly cure mechanism. This glue is founded by American Dr. W. Cooper in 1942.
Cyanoacrylate adhesives contain a cyano group (-CN) and an ester group (COOR) attached to the same carbon atom, capable of attracting electrons. Thanks to these properties, the monomers reacting with electron-rich materials polymerize in a very short time with the humidity in the environment and a hard polymeric layer is formed between the two surfaces. This layer ensures that the parts adhere tightly to each other. It is generally preferred because it can stick a wide variety of materials together with its instant adhesion feature.
